Who we are

The members of Scott Baptist church are a group of Bible believing men and women, who  gather as a church to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.  If the Bible says it’s wrong, we believe it is wrong.  We collectively understand that God created Man in His own image and created Man to be in sweet communion with Him.  God gave Man a choice to do with his life as he felt was good and God knew that Man would sin.  God knew that the Man’s sin had to be covered with a blood sacrifice as no sin can enter the presence of God .  He directed man on the ordinance of sacrifice to cover his sin.  Man’s sin continued and prevented that sweet communion that God desired, so in his infinite mercy and grace, God sent Jesus to be born of a virgin, to walk this world as God incarnate.  In human form Jesus experienced every feeling, every pain, everything that man experienced and yet Jesus did not sin.    Then at the appointed time, Jesus gave himself as the final willing sacrifice so that if man would accept Jesus Christ as his LORD and Savior, he would be saved from eternal damnation in Hell but be granted access to Heaven for Eternity

Our Pastor

Brother David Oliver grew up in Wrightsville, Georgia, where he continues to reside today. He has been faithfully serving in ministry since being ordained to preach in July 2010.

Bro David brings God’s Word in a way that can be understood and used by his flock to promote our mission of glorifying God and building His Kingdom.

Location: Scott Baptist Church is located at 5 Archer Pond Road, Adrian GA 31002. The church is located at the caution light on Highway 80 at the intersection where Archer Pond Road and Pendleton Creek Road meet.
